Sale Information

INSPECTIONS: Inspections of the females will be available at Pinora West from Friday the 10th of December. The cows will be penned up early on the morning of sale and will be ready for inspection.

GUARANTEE: All stock are guaranteed breeders. Any claim against an animal’s breeding capacity should be forwarded in writing, and accompanied by a veterinary certificate, within six months of the date of the sale. Any animal failing to breed may be exchanged with an animal of equivalent value or a credit of the original purchase price will be given at the subsequent sale on a private sale.

REFRESHMENTS: Dulacca Playgroup will be providing morning tea and lunch for purchase on sale day at Pinora West.

HEALTH & INTERSTATE MOVEMENT: Gobongo is a TB and Brucellosis free herd. Pinora West is situated in a tick free region, the sale cattle require NO tick treatment and are free to pass into southern states. As for sale females destined for Western Australia, the vendors will assist in organising the accompanying documents.

VACCINATIONS: Vaccination history of all the sale females is as follows,

7 in 1 – Gobongo cows are boosted annually with 7 in 1 at preg-testing. Heifer calves are given their first shot at tagging and the booster shot at weaning. All sale females will require their next booster in July 2011.

3 Germ Blood – All the sale females including the pregnant cows and heifers have been inoculated with the Tick Fever 3 germ vaccine.

Pestiguard - Gobongo breeders are boosted annually with Pestiguard at preg-testing. Heifer calves are given their first shot of Pestiguard at weaning and the booster shot at joining. All the mature cows and joined heifers will require a Pestiguard booster in July 2011. The unjoined heifers will need their booster in February 2011.

DELIVERY: The efficient delivery of the sale females will be conducted by Landmark. AuctionsPlus purchasers will be contacted by a Landmark agent at the completion of the sale to organise suitable delivery instructions. To provide interstate purchasers with the opportunity to arrange suitable and economical trucking, sale females can be accommodated after the sale at Pinora West by arrangement with the vendor.

AuctionsPlus: AuctionsPlus is live on-line and is interfaced in real time with the physical auction being conducted by the auctioneer onsite at the female sale. AuctionsPlus brings the on-site prices live, in real time to the computer screen (via an internet connection) of the registered AuctionsPlus bidders. These bidders can place a bid on their computer and the result is immediately transferred to a person on-site who will then raise that bid with the auctioneer. This type of sale sells one lot at a time and is controlled by the auctioneer who will decide the start price and bid increments.

For the first time AuctionsPlus bidders will also have the added benefit of live streamed video and audio coming from the actual auction.
